You would think this photo was taken in the Spring. Yet, somehow the snow melts (just before snowing once more) and the local Seon flower shops will bring out their wares for you to enjoy.
Little blooms. Tiny greens. Growing. Growing.
Even in the winter.
An on-going metaphor for my own mind and spirit lately when I have felt lacking in creativity, a still and silent muse. A vast void of stillness. Yet, in this barren winter, still things are being planted.
Perhaps the seeds planted in dark soil, covered over with snow, are doing the hard and brave work of becoming and will push through that damp soil when the time is right.
